Following the popular color-coded hint system, letters will light up green if they’re in the exact spot and yellow if they’re part of the word but in a different position. Start your first attempt by always using a test word that contains at least three different vowels and two of the most common consonants (such as R, S, L, or T). Identifying the presence of key vowels from the very first move will reduce the possible dictionary combinations by more than half. Save the extra check feature only for when you have just one attempt left and are unsure between two final consonants, making sure not to break your daily streak because of an avoidable mistake!
