Hexagon Imperium Multiplayer

Based on the legendary game Hex Empire, we have developed this HTML5 multiplayer version with ELO system, daily missions and real time rankings.

Hexagon Imperium Multiplayer is a turn-based strategy game in which you lead a faction on a hexagonal map of 20×12 squares. The goal: conquer the world by eliminating the other three real players.

The factions

At the start, you choose one of the four factions: Oceania (blue), Eurasia (red), Eastasia (green) or Brotherhood (amber). Each one starts with its capital in a corner of the map and a small starting territory.

Multiplayer Mode - Rooms and games

Create your own room or join an existing one. Games are for 2 to 4 real players. You can create public rooms (anyone can join) or private rooms with password to play with friends. The automatic matchmaking system searches for opponents of similar ELO to guarantee balanced games.

ELO System and Rankings

Every win or loss affects your ELO rating. The more difficult the opponent, the more ELO you earn by beating him. Check the global ranking and compete for the top positions on the leaderboard. Your position is updated in real time after each game.

XP and progression

You gain experience (XP) in each game: for turns played, territories conquered, capitals taken and victories. Level up and unlock titles that are displayed next to your name in the rooms and in the ranking.

Daily missions

Every day you have new missions to complete: conquer X territories, win a game with a specific faction, eliminate an opponent in less than 15 turns... Complete the missions to earn extra XP and accelerate your progression.

Troop generation

At the beginning of each turn you receive automatic reinforcements in your cities: Capital: +10 troops City or Port: +5 troops Camps do not generate troops on their own.

Movement and combat

Each turn you have up to 6 moves. You select an army and move it 1 or 2 hexes. If you move on enemy or neutral territory, the combat is resolved automatically.

Unit types

The visual icon changes according to the size of the army: soldiers (≤20), artillery (21-50) and tanks (>50). Ships appear in ports.

Cities, capitals and ports

The more you control, the more troops you generate. Losing your capital is a huge blow - in multiplayer it can change the balance of the whole game.

Merging armies

Move two friendly armies into the same hex to merge them. After the merge, neither can move that turn.

Victory

Eliminate the three rival factions by conquering their capitals. The last one standing wins and moves up in the rankings.
