Pollo x la Pasta

Pollo x la Pasta is a quick strategy and absurd humor videogame. Set in Chickónkiland, the most dreadful city in the Cálico Electrónico universe, with the characters DonRamón and Perchita as main characters, our goal will be to defeat the bosses of all the Illegal Corrales in a frantic game that consists of... making stripes with chickens. There are different types of chickens, each with a value: half a chicken, a cut chicken, a chicken, a good chicken and a pure chicken (we're still talking about birds, ok?). In each turn you have to place a chicken on a square; if you place it in a position where your opponent already has a chicken with the same value, you kill him. The game ends when one of the boards is full; the stripes of 2 or 3 equal chickens multiply their value by the same number. And whoever has more leuros wins. Throughout each game the player can spend the accumulated leuros to get special chickens such as the mime or the rubber chicken, and trukis (gadgets) with unique effects, such as the credit card, the cane or the bottle of JP.

ABOUT TLR GAMES

The Longest Road Games is an indie studio based in Bilbao. Founded by industry veteran Arturo Monedero, its goal is to create games that challenge the limits of what is expected from a videogame through personal and artistic experiences, poetic atmospheres and a unique blend of narrative, art, music and gameplay experience. Their first game, developed in co-production with Brainwash Gang and published by Raw Fury, was The Longest Road on Earth: an acclaimed art game that achieved the FS Play Award for Most Innovative Game in 2019 at the Fun&Serous Game Festival (now BIG Conference), and was nominated for its art at the Unity Showcase Awards. IDEA, their second game, won Best Visual Design at the Indiecade 2022.
