Hexagon Imperium

Based on the legendary game Hex Empirewe have developed this HTML5 version much more modern and with more features, integrated with achievements and rankings, and soon will have a multiplayer version so you can compete among fans of the game.

Hexagon Imperium is a turn-based strategy game in which you lead a faction on a hexagonal map of 20×12 squares. The goal: conquer the world by eliminating the other three powers.

The factions At the start, you choose one of the four factions: Oceania (blue), Eurasia (red), Eastasia (green) or Brotherhood (amber). Each one starts with its capital in a corner of the map and a small starting territory.

Troop generation

At the beginning of each turn you receive automatic reinforcements in your cities:

• Capital: +10 troops
• City or Port: +5 troops
• Fields do not generate troops by themselves

Movement and combat

Each turn you have up to 6 movements. You select an army and move it 1 or 2 hexes away. If you move over an enemy or neutral territory, the combat is resolved automatically. If you win, you conquer the hex; if you lose, the attacker retreats.

Unit types

The visual icon of your armies changes according to their size: soldiers for small groups (≤20), artillery for medium groups (21-50) and tanks for large armies (>50). Ships appear in ports.

Cities, capitals and ports

Cities and ports are the heart of your war economy. The more you control, the more troops you generate each turn. Capitals are the most valuable, losing yours is a huge blow.

Merging armies

You can move two friendly armies to the same hex to merge them and create a more powerful force. However, after the merger neither can move that turn.

The AI

Three AI controlled factions with adjustable difficulty (easy / normal / hard) that manage their armies, consolidate territory and actively attack you.

Victory

Eliminate the three rival factions by conquering their capitals. The last one standing wins.
