Dan the Man

Dan the Man is a 2D action platform game with retro aesthetics that mixes the classic arcade style with a very particular humor. Created by Halfbrick Studios together with Studio Joho, the title puts us in the shoes of Dan, a somewhat clumsy but very brave hero who must face waves of enemies, robots and powerful bosses in scenarios ranging from villages and castles to secret laboratories.

The game combines precise jumping with intense combat, where punches, kicks and martial arts moves are mixed with weapons of all kinds, from knives to rocket launchers. Throughout the adventure it is possible to upgrade skills, unlock combos and discover secret areas full of coins and hidden chests.

Its pixel art graphic style is reminiscent of 8 and 16-bit videogames, but with modern animations and an agile rhythm that make it feel fresh. In addition to the main campaign, it includes survival modes and special challenges that test the player's endurance, offering hours of fun. In essence, Dan the Man is a tribute to classic action and platformers, but with a modern twist and a good dose of humor that make it an experience as challenging as it is entertaining.
