For centuries, fantasy has portrayed orcs as a brutal horde that only wants to raid villages. Orecraft: Mining Camp reveals the truth: what they really wanted was a solid business plan. Here, you don’t invade anything. You run a mining camp, extract ore, smelt it, forge armor, and hire blacksmiths and miners.

The game asks you to decide whether to sell the raw ore for quick gold or turn it into legendary gear worth a fortune. It’s a decision that would keep any self-employed orc up at night. You also have to choose between moving the camp to richer veins or building an impregnable fortress right where you are.

The camp keeps producing even when you’re not there, and it works offline. It’s the only job where your employees work while you sleep and never ask for vacation time.
