In this awesome platformer, you join Madeline, a young woman who decides to climb the imposing Mount Celeste. What seems like a leisurely hike quickly turns into a total madhouse filled with cliffs, spikes, impossible platforms, and jumps that will test even the reflexes of a ninja on a caffeine high.

The gameplay seems simple: you run, jump, climb walls, and use a powerful boost in any direction to reach places that seem impossible. It sounds easy… until you start racking up twenty, fifty, or two hundred consecutive falls. The good news is that the game knows you’re going to die a lot, so it gets you back into the action in less than a second. Before you know it, you’ll be saying “just one more try” as you attempt to clear that jump that seemed impossible just five minutes ago.

Each chapter introduces new mechanics that ensure you never feel like you’re repeating the same thing. You’ll find crystals that recharge your momentum, blocks that appear and disappear, bubbles that launch you into the air, gusts of wind that try to blow you down the mountain, and a ton of surprises that turn every screen into a little puzzle of skill. Here, it’s not enough to just run forward: you’ll have to think, calculate, and trust your fingers to make it out alive.

But Celeste isn’t just a festival of impossible jumps. As you ascend, you’ll meet very charismatic characters and experience a surprisingly moving story. Madeline will have to face a version of herself that embodies all her doubts and fears, proving that, sometimes, the toughest enemy isn’t on the screen, but inside our own heads. All of this is told with plenty of humor, natural dialogue, and moments that manage to elicit both a smile and the occasional moment of reflection.

And if you think finishing the adventure means you’ve already conquered the mountain… think again. In addition to the main story, there are hidden strawberries, secret levels, even harder versions of each chapter, and challenges designed for true experts. Some players even try to complete entire levels without dying a single time. Yes, there are people capable of doing that… and they’re probably not from this planet.

With beautiful pixel art, a spectacular soundtrack, and gameplay so precise that every mistake feels like your fault (even if you swear it isn’t), Celeste achieves something truly special: it makes dying over and over again incredibly fun. It’s one of those games that drives you crazy, makes you laugh, forces you to try “just one more time,” and, when you finally nail that impossible jump, makes you feel like you’ve just conquered Everest… without ever leaving the couch.
