Mini Turbo Karts

Strap on your antenna helmet—this is going to be a wild ride! Choose your kart from among six awesome racers: Turbo Tomato, Drifty Berry, Cool Cucumber, Bubble Bolt, Big Banana, or Lucky Plum. Each one has their own special ability. Then dive into the Mini Kart Cup, a tournament across four wild worlds:

• Meadow: perfect curves for drifting until you get dizzy.
• Ice: Slippery patches and snowdrifts that bring you to a screeching halt.
• Desert: ramps to fly off and desert balls rolling across the track.
• Moon: low gravity, barrier-free tracks over the void, and… a meteor shower!

Win races, make it to the podium in each cup to unlock the next world, and earn all four trophies to win the Mini Kart Cup. Along the way, you’ll find 25 achievements, surprise boxes filled with rockets, oil, turbos, and stars, and a very friendly UFO that rescues you if you fall into space. Hit the gas and don’t let anyone pass you!

Mini Turbo Karts Tips and Tricks:

• Turbo Start: Accelerate just before the light turns green, and you’ll shoot forward. If you get a head start, there’s no bonus.
• Drift to earn mini-turbos: Keep drifting through the turns. The sparks will change from blue to orange and then to purple. The longer you hold it, the longer the turbo lasts when you let go.
• Perform tricks in the air: When jumping off a ramp or onto a zero-gravity pad, tap the drift button while in the air. You’ll do a 360-degree spin, a flip, or a barrel roll, and when you land, you’ll earn an extra turbo.
• Use power-ups wisely:
  • Save the rocket for when you have someone right in front of you.
  • Drop the oil when you’re being chased closely.
  • Use the star to wipe out everything in your path.
• If you’re in last place, open crates: the further back you are, the better the power-ups you’ll get. Lucky Plum gets the best ones of all.
• On ice, brake before the turn: on ice, karts slide more than you think. Dodge the snow mounds—they slow you down a lot.
• Desert: The desert balls make you lose speed. Big Banana barely notices them.
• Moon: Watch out for sections without barriers. Look for the red shadows on the ground—they mark where a meteorite is going to land.
• Secret shortcuts on the Moon: Look for flashing yellow lights at the edge of sharp turns. They hide floating bridges that shorten the lap and end at a turbo pad. There’s one on Saturn’s Ring and two on Meteor Shower.
• Can’t handle a cup? You can race each track separately from the tournament. If you win all three tracks in a world, you’ll also unlock that world’s trophy.
