SwingBrainrots.io is a Roblox-style multiplayer platform and physics game in which players must traverse obstacle courses using a grappling hook to swing between platforms, avoid traps and get farther and farther.
Unlike traditional platform games where you simply run and jump, in SwingBrainrots.io the movement is based on the physics of swinging. Your character attaches himself to points suspended in the air by means of a rope and uses the momentum generated to launch himself towards new platforms. Each movement depends on the exact moment you hook and release the rope.
The game rewards precision and mastery of physics. Although the controls are simple, learning to maintain momentum and choosing the right moment to release the rope requires practice.
The most important mechanic is to take advantage of the pendulum motion to gain speed. Releasing the rope too early often results in short falls, while releasing the rope at the right time allows you to travel long distances.
The stages are inspired by the Obby style (obstacle course), very popular in the Roblox community.
In addition, the servers use a map rotation system so that each game presents different challenges and keeps the experience fresh.
It was developed by the company Legion Platforms.
