Go back to December 1984 and survive the longest night of your life! In The Upside Down, the veil between our world and the darkness has been torn, giving way to the terrifying Penumbra Walkers. As the town flees in terror, young Eddie Sinclair enters the most terrifying streets with a mission that no one else dared to accept: to rescue his best friend, his dog Buddy, from almost certain death!

In this tactical RPG with retro aesthetics, inspired by the famous TV series Stranger Things, strategy is everything! You will have to explore a ghost town, manage your team and master the use of everyday objects turned into mystical weapons to confront entities that hate the light. Will you have the courage to reach the heart of the gloom? Survival will require a cool mind! Every step you take away from the safety of your home increases the danger, and your trusty Gloometer will be the only one to warn you when the darkness is about to consume you. Master a tactical combat system where time is your most valuable resource: every move counts and every action is final. Upgrade your stats, find superior equipment in abandoned buildings and use eighties wit to banish the shadows - the winter solstice is here and Buddy is counting on you!

What are the features of The Upside Down?

• Immerse yourself in a snowy environment full of nostalgia, synthesizers and supernatural dangers.
• Plan carefully; once you start an action, there's no turning back until it's over.
• Use boom boxes to distract, flash cameras to blind and fireworks to vaporize enemies.
• Loot buildings for upgraded slingshots and "spells" (powerful items) to strengthen Eddie.
• Return home to save your progress, heal and level up before venturing deeper!
• Your home is in the upper left corner.
• Return there to drink potions, improve your stats and get to safety.
• If you wander too far away unprepared, the Walkers will easily catch you.
• The radio cassette is vital; leave the shadows pinned in place while you position yourself for an attack or a quick escape.

Don't be a hero before your time! The outskirts of Black Hollow are unforgiving. The key to this game is to get out quickly to get an upgrade, defeat a couple of shadows, and return home to save. If you die far from home, you'll lose precious time - plan your routes and always keep a spare battery for your flashlight!
