Relive the glory days of arcades with a touch of irreverent humor in Moncloa's Fighter, a hilarious, technically challenging, and addictive 2D fighting game with pixel art graphics, where your main goal is to choose your candidate for the elections, form unlikely coalitions, and fight your way to the doors of the Congress of Deputies to reach the Moncloa and enact your first government measure.
Enjoy exquisite, hand-drawn visuals with over 100 frames per character and a biting satire that will dish out blows equally across the entire Spanish political spectrum. The roster features nearly 30 caricatured fighters (such as Perro Sanxe, Alberto Freijóo, Isa Díaz Ayusa, M. Rajoy, and Carles Puchimont), each equipped with special attacks based on viral moments from their careers—from being shoved into a trunk and flying in a Falcon jet to plasma screens and car chases down the Gran Vía. In addition, the game introduces a dynamic system of “pacts” and mid-battle assistance from an ally, as well as cumulative visual damage with bumps and bruises, characters unlockable via secret codes, and a fun anonymous statistic that tracks which political bloc wins the most matches in real time.
Don’t save your ally’s call for when you’re about to lose the round—use it right as you launch your super special attack! Summoning a pact ally while your opponent is cornered will cancel their recovery, allowing you to chain one devastating combo after another without your opponent being able to block or dodge.
Five fighters start out locked. They are unlocked one by one by completing Arcade Mode, or instantly with these codes: in the game menu, go to “Secret Code” and enter one.
This absolutely amazing and hilarious game was developed by Gastón Bruno, together with product designer Beatriz Martín Maganto.
