How many game modes are there in MonkeyBall?

MonkeyBall offers up to three game modes:

• Player vs. environment: training mode to increase your monkey's overall skills.

How do NFTs work in MonkeyBall?

Monkeys are the players of the MonkeyBall teams and are introduced through NFT assets owned by the users of the game. Monkeys on each team generate income by winning matches, called MonkeyBucks ($MBS), the in-game currency.

Each NFT monkey has a unique DNA, or in other words, a set of upgradable skills in areas such as accuracy, passing, strength and control, as well as differentiating elements depending on their position between striker, midfielder, defender and goalkeeper. Both the DNA and the rarity of each jumpsuit determine the chances of winning matches.

How do I play MonkeyBall?

MonkeyBall is a turn-based arcade game with matches played between two teams, each with 4 monkeys playing each of the standard positions on the pitch: striker, midfielder, defender and goalkeeper. The matches take place in 6 rounds of timed play and the first team to score 3 goals wins.

In between matches you can upgrade your monkeys at HQ, increasing their skills and performance through care and training, and boosting their morale for a better response on the pitch.

On the other hand, stadium owners receive rewards for hosting matches, while other players can be spectators and influence the outcome by cheering for one of the two teams. At the end of a match, the total amount of MonkeyBucks tokens are divided between the winner, the stadium owner and the spectators who supported the winning team.

What are MonkeyBucks ($MBS)?

MonkeyBucks ($MBS) represent MonkeyBall's internal currency through which the economic activity of the game is conducted. Players can earn $MBS by purchasing tokens at DEX, opening loot boxes, completing quests, winning matches, watching matches as spectators, and hosting matches in their stadiums.

By investing the $MBS earned you can breed new monkeys and buy consumable items in the in-game store.
